Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, boasts a rich history that echoes through its majestic forts, intricate palaces, and bustling streets. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the city was a planned masterpiece, replacing the nearby Amber Fort as the seat of power.

Seeking to overcome the limitations of Amber, Jai Singh envisioned Jaipur as a well-organized and prosperous city. He employed renowned architect Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, who meticulously planned the layout based on Hindu architectural principles.
